Google’s Pixel XL and Pixel XL smartphones were launched in 2016 with the focus on the camera experience. The Pixel phones’ camera experience is a key feature. This is largely because of the advanced software and algorithms, and not because they have the best camera hardware.
Google Pixel phones offer similar imaging performance to the Apple iPhone. They also have regular software updates and Android security patches. Nearly every software upgrade brings new features, enhancements, and performance improvements. You can be sure that your Pixel phone will continue to be supported for at most three years, unlike other Android phones.
Google just announced the Google Pixel 6a, while also sharing teasers of the upcoming Pixel 7 which will launch later in this year. Other Google Pixel phones, including the Pixel 6a, are also available and worth consideration.

Google used to offer two versions of the same product, with one variant being significantly smaller than the others. Although the difference in size is not significant this year, there are still some important differences. The Pixel 6 doesn’t have the third telephoto lens on the back. It has a flat LCD display instead of a curved one (this is a huge benefit IMHO), less RAM and a smaller battery. It starts at $300 less than the Pixel 6 Pro.
